Google Pixel 8 Series Launched in India: Pre-orders Now Live

Google is back with its annual Pixel Series launch. The brand has launched the successor to its 2022 Pixel 7 Series by announcing the Google Pixel 8 Series globally today. The Google Pixel 8 Series includes Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphones. Both the devices arrive with some significant upgrades over the predecessors Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Google has also launched Pixel Watch 2 alongside the Pixel 8 series. Read on to know when and for how much the newest Pixels will be available in India.

Google Pixel 8 Series: Price & Availability

Google Pixel 8 will be available in Obsidian, Hazel, and Rose shades. It comes in 2 storage models-

  • 8GB RAM+128GB storage- Rs. 75,999
  • 8GB RAM+256GB storage- Rs. 82,999

Google Pixel 8 Pro will be available in Obsidian, and Bay shades for Rs. 1,06,999.

The smartphones will retail via Flipkart during the upcoming Big Billion Days sale starting 15th October.

Google Pixel 8 Specs

Google Pixel 8 sports a 6.2-inch FHD+ OLED display with adaptive 60-120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Google Tensor G3 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard. The latest Pixel by Google features a 50MP primary and a 12MP ultrawide camera at the back. At the front is a 10.5MP selfie camera and under the hood is a 4575mAh battery with 27W wired and 18W wireless charging capability.

Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. Pixel 8 runs Android 14 OS and also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, face recognition, and IP68 dust and water resistance.

Google Pixel 8 Pro Specs

Google Pixel 8 Pro flaunts a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with adaptive 1-120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Google Tensor G3 chipset with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage onboard. The latest Pixel Pro smartphone by Google features a 50MP primary, 48MP ultrawide, and a 48MP telephoto camera at the back. At the front is a 10.5MP selfie camera and under the hood is a 5050mAh battery with 30W wired and 23W wireless charging capability.

Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. Pixel 8 Pro runs Android 14 OS and also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, face recognition, and IP68 dust and water resistance.
