Google Pixel 8a Marketing Material Surfaces Online: Reveals More Details

Google better hurry up with the launch of the third member of the Google Pixel 8 Series as almost all the marketing material of the upcoming Pixel-A device has surfaced online. Google Pixel 8a is going to be announced very soon, however, ten days before launch a tipster has shared the marketing material for the device that reveals colors, specs, and more about the smartphone. Google Pixel 8 Series currently includes Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphones.

Google Pixel 8a: Launch Date

Google Pixel 8a is expected to launch on 14^th May 2024 during the Google I/O event.

Google Pixel 8a: Marketing Material

Tipster Evan Blass shared marketing material images of Google Pixel 8a that confirm the use of Gorilla Glass 3 for the display. The material also confirms the IP67 rating and color variants of the upcoming smartphone. Google Pixel 8a will come in black, blue, green, and white shades and have a matte finish for the back panel. Other features include wireless charging capability, 24 hours of battery life, and 30W charging speeds. It will be powered by Tensor G3 chipset and has been confirmed to receive 7 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches.

There will be various camera modes available like Best Take, Audio Magic Eraser, Real Tone, Night Sight, Magic Eraser, and more. Google Pixel 8a will also come with Circle to Search, Gemini questions, and more AI features. Pixel 8a has been confirmed to support Google One VPN and comes with three months of YouTube Premium and a 100GB Google One Plan.

The screenshots also indicate that Google Pixel 8a will be made of recycled materials, potentially recycled aluminum. Google in partnership with Fitbit Premium will give a promotion offer for six months.

Leaks suggest that the Pixel 8a will be priced at around Rs. 45,000 In India for the 128GB model and Rs. 46,000 for the 256GB variant.

While almost everything is known about the Pixel 8a, there might be some more surprises at Google’s end which the company might pull up during the launch.
