Earlier this month, Google announced the One AI Premium plan that offered Gemini’s abilities in the company’s productivity apps. Users can now access Gemini through the Google One subscription plan. Here’s what users can do with the new AI-powered tools.

Gemini Is Making Its Way To Gmail And Docs

Through a blog post, Google announced the availability of Gemini directly within the productivity apps people have been using. Gemini’s abilities will help users “get more done without jumping between tabs or apps.” With Gemini in Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Meet, users will be able to create, edit, and share projects like never before.

In Gmail, users will have access to Help Me Write in the Compose screen. There, they can enter a prompt and generate the appropriate text to send as part of an email. Alternatively, users can write something and ask Gemini to change the format, style, or length.

Use Help Me Write In Google Docs

This particular feature is also available in Google Docs, where users can ask Gemini to add a bullet list, change the tone of an article, or make other refinements. Google One AI Premium users can summon the Proofread feature to perform a spelling and grammar check. The app will suggest changes related to conciseness, active voice, wording, and splitting sentences for easy flow.

Gemini Can Help Users Organize Data In Sheets

In Google Sheets, users can use the Help Me Organize feature to create custom templates and tables. Then there’s the Enhances Smart fill feature, which includes “sentiment classification, combining and generating text, extracting specific text,” and formatting addresses. Thanks to Gemini’s text-to-image generation capabilities, users should be able to create and add informative images in Google Slides.

Google Meet is getting three new features. Gemini’s Studio features help users improve the lighting, look, and sound. Further, users can also create a personalized background. Moreover, the company has integrated the Gemini language model into all its productivity apps. These features come as part of the Rs. 1,950 per month Google One AI Premium plan.
