Google’s Circle to Search feature is soon coming to Samsung Galaxy A series phones

Google is slowly but steadily rolling out its AI features to non-flagship devices. One such AI feature is ‘Circle to Search’. It was first shown off on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series earlier in the year before it was shipped on other Samsung and Google devices. Now, it is making its way onto Samsung’s A series phones and Galaxy Tab S9 FE Series.

Samsung says that the Circle to Search feature will arrive on the Galaxy A34 5G, A35 5G, and A54 5G smartphones in the coming weeks. Upon finalizing this rollout, it will also be on the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus, which will add a new dimension to productivity with the added SPen functionality.

What is Circle to Search?

Circle to Search is a feature that lets you search for anything using a simple circular gesture on the screen. Just highlight the thing and select the text, images, or videos you want to search. This feature, developed in collaboration with Google, leverages AI to provide comprehensive and contextually relevant search results.

Google and Samsung are continuously expanding Circle to Search’s capabilities. Future updates include full-page translation, homework help, and QR code scanning. Since this was a collaborative effort, we do not think it will be coming to non-Google or Samsung smartphones anytime soon.
