A user on X (@GameRollGTA) suggested that the trailer for Borderlands 4 may have provided a subtle indication regarding the release date of the second trailer for GTA 6, as hinted by Take Two. The source mentioned that GTA 6 could potentially be released in late March, which would offer additional insights following the initial trailer that showcased the game’s Vice City setting and introduced the franchise’s first female playable character.
The trailer for Borderlands 4 was released seven months before its official launch. If Rockstar Games follows a similar timeline for GTA 6, we can expect the second trailer to be unveiled in late March 2025. Last year, the company confirmed that GTA 6 is set to be released in the fall of 2025 and will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Additionally, reports from Corsair Gaming suggest that PC players may not gain access to GTA 6 until early 2026, while all other platforms are anticipated to receive the game in 2025.
