According to TheGhostOfHope, a leaker whose Call of Duty track record was credible enough (to receive a court order from Activision Blizzard), the current plan at Rockstar is to launch the online version within a month after the original game ships. If that happens, GTA VI could arrive by or before Christmas 2026.
If you look at GTA’s track record, GTA V was released on September 17, 2013, and the online version followed on October 1 of the same year. You see? That was a two-week gap.
