Hisense unveils a new range of QLED TVs in India starting at Rs. 59,990

Hisense has expanded its range of televisions with the unveiling of 3 new QLED TVs in India. The new TVs feature a full array of local dimming with Quantum Dot technology which claims to help deliver brighter whites, deeper blacks, and an enhanced contrast ratio by controlling the backlight across the screen. The TV range consists of 3 distinct variants- Hisense 55U6G, Hisense 65U6G, and the Hisense 75U80G with 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch display sizes respectively.

Hisense QLED TVs Price and Availability

  • Hisense 55U6G is priced at Rs. 59,990
  • Hisense 65U6G is priced at Rs. 84,990
  • Hisense 75U8G is priced at Rs. 3,99,990

The Hisense 55U6G and 75U8G will go on sale through major e-commerce portals and retail stores in India starting this week, while the Hisense 65U6G will be available at the beginning of November.

Hisense New range of QLED TVs Specs

Hisense 55U6G Specs

It features a 55-inch 4K UHD LED-backlit QLED display that has the Quantum Dot technology, along with full-array local dimming. It has 700 nits of peak brightness along with a 60Hz refresh rate. There is 24W audio output that is backed by Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos technologies. Dolby Vision along with HDR10, HLG HDR, and HEVC decoder are also available. The TV has a quad-core CPU coupled with Mali470MP GPU and 2GB of RAM and a dedicated Hi-View engine for enhancing graphics processing.

Hisense 55-inch comes with Google Assistant support and has Google Store preloaded for installing compatible applications. The TV has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity along with Ethernet, HDMI, and USB ports too. To support content recorded using older technologies, the Hisense 55U6G has an upscaling feature that is claimed to upgrade a normal 2k picture to 4k resolution by reducing noise, supplementing details, and defining edges and text.

Hisense 65U6G Specs

Hisense 65U6G also has a 4K UHD LED-backlit QLED display with Quantum Dot technology but the size of its display is 65-inch. There is support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision with 24W audio output. It has a quad-core CPU and a Mali470 GPU with 2GB of RAM and a Hi-View engine for graphics processing.

The TV has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0 as well as Ethernet, HDMI, and USB ports along with Google Assistant and Google Play access.

Hisense 75080G Specs

Hisense 75U80G has a 75-inch 8KUHD QLED display with a pixel resolution of 7680×4320 and a 120Hz refresh rate. The TV has support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and is powered by a quad-core CPU combined with Mali G52 MC2 GPU and 5GB RAM. It has 36W audio output and Google Play access for downloading apps and games. Google Assistant is enabled and in the connectivity department, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, Ethernet, HDMI, and USB ports.
