What does Gen2 Repairability mean?
Repairable design is being Gen2 Repairability. It enables at-home, user-friendly repairs on the device by simply turning one screw to open the back cover using a guitar pick and a screwdriver. Users just need to turn one screw to open the back cover on the HMD Skyline. With a counter-clockwise twist, the corner of the back cover pops so you can slip a pry tool under it to reveal a simple but elegant mechanism. Once the back cover is removed, you will get access to an array of screws to remove and disconnect the display cable.
