Honda scooters top the list when it comes to selling the most number of scooters in India. Meanwhile, Honda Activa alone has been on the top and to maintain its position, the company has released a teaser poster for the arrival of a new scooter, hopefully Activa 7G.

Honda has not revealed the name and launch date of its upcoming scooter yet it is said to be Honda Activa 7G. In the teaser picture, we can see only the front view of the upcoming scooter leaving us no hint about the design. Currently, the brand is selling different variants of its Activa 6G in the country.

Honda Activa 7G expected features

The upcoming Honda Activa 7G is likely to get minor upgrades over the 6G model. It is expected to be powered by a 110cc motor with the efficiency to produce a power of 7.68bhp and 8.79Nm torque. The 7G scooter should arrive with BS6 transition as well just like its predecessor.

For some notable changes, Honda could gear the upcoming 7G with new paint polish options and a sportier look. Also, the company could work more on the fuel efficiency part to place it as a true successor. The 7G is expected to have a larger boot space, silent engine starter, low step-through floorboard, and an external fuel filler cap.

Honda Activa 6G

Since only the Activa 6G Deluxe variant features a semi-digital instrument cluster and LED headlights, these features should tag along with 7G as standard for all variants.

Honda could price the upcoming Activa 7G costlier than the 6G version which is currently selling at Rs 72,400 for the Standard model and Rs 74,400 for the Deluxe variant in Delhi. Hero Pleasure+, TVS Jupiter 110, Hero Maestro Edge 110, and Yamaha Fascino will be rivals to the Honda Activa 7G
