Honor 200 5G Series confirmed to launch in India soon: Amazon Page Goes Live

Honor made its comeback to the Indian market with the launch of Honor 90 5G in September 2023. After that, Honor launched the X9B device in February this year. Now, the brand has confirmed its next major launch which will take place in July 2024 (in India). Honor 200 5G Series will soon be announced in India which is expected to feature two smartphones- Honor 200 5G and Honor 200 Pro 5G. HTECH has started dropping teasers for the launch of Honor 200 Series and the Amazon microsite has also gone live, confirming an imminent launch.

Honor 200 5G Series: Expectations

Amazon listing confirms that the Honor 200 series smartphones will come with various AI Features, especially in terms of camera. HTECH has also confirmed that the devices will support AI Portrait Master to capture iconic studio portrait modes. The series will have a curved screen for more comfort and clarity. The website doesn’t confirm the date of launch but they are listed with a ‘Coming Soon’ tag. Those who are interested can click on the ‘Notify Me’ button on the online marketplace for updates about the launch.

Honor 200 5G Series: Specs (global version)

Honor has already launched the smartphones globally so we do have an idea about the specs. The Honor 200 Pro and Honor 200 5G feature 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panels with 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. While the vanilla model is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, the Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.

Both smartphones have a 50MP main camera at the back along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens with OIS. At the front is a 50MP Selfie snapper with 2D face unlock support. Under the hood, globally smartphones pack a 5200mAh battery with 100W SuperCharge fast charging and 66W wireless fast charging support.

Honor 200 5G Series: Expected pricing

The Honor 200 is priced at GBP 499.99 aka Rs. 53,500 approx. in the UK while the Pro version costs GBP 699.99 aka Rs. 74,800 approx.

Since the phones have already gone live on Amazon, the launch is expected to take place soon. More details will be known as the launch gets confirmed.
