Honor X9b Smartphone, Choice X5 Earbuds & Choice Smartwatch launched in India

Honor has recently introduced three fresh additions to the Indian Market. These include the X9b, a mid-range smartphone, the Choice Smartwatch, and the Choice Earbuds X5. Over the past few weeks, there have been numerous leaks surrounding these devices, providing insights into Honor’s vision for the year ahead. The Honor X9b claims to stand out with features like a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, a 108MP sensor, and a massive 5800mAh battery. Additionally, it also boasts an ultra-bounce anti-drop build, ensuring durability. Honor has announced a Protection Plan to build consumer trust in the brand and partnered with Bollywood Actress Tripti Dimri as its brand ambassador. Honor X9b, Earbuds & Watch: Price & Availability

The Honor X9b comes in a lone 8GB RAM+256GB storage model for Rs. 25,999. Currently with bank discounts and other offers, the effective price is Rs. 22,999. It comes in Midnight Black and Sunrise Orange shades and the first sale will take place tomorrow via Amazon and other retail channels.

The Honor Protection plan that has been announced includes a 30-day buyback guarantee, 180 days of free screen replacement, 180 days of extended warranty, and doorstep phone service when needed.

Honor Choice Earbuds X5 are priced at Rs. 1999 while the Honor Choice Smartwatch costs Rs. 5999. The watch will go on sale from February 24.

Honor X9b: Specs

Honor X9b is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits brightness. There is a triple camera setup at the back that includes a 108MP main, 5MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro sensors. At the front is a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The Honor X9b runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2 out of the box and packs a 5800mAh battery under the hood with 30W wired charging capability.

Honor has emphasized the design and durability of X9b. The rear panel has a design inspired by luxury watches and comes in 2 shades- Sunrise Orange and Midnight Black. The display is equipped with Ultra-Bounce Anti-drop 360-degree tech that claims to survive drops with an airbag cushioning and shock-absorbing structure. Honor claims it can handle falls from up to 1.5m. The device weighs 185 grams and has a thickness of about 8mm.

Honor Choice Earbuds X5: Features

The Honor Choice Earbuds X5 comes with 30dB Active Noise Cancellation. It offers up to 35 hours of battery life with the case and can be used continuously for nine hours on its own. The actual usage time always varies with factors like volume, audio source, usage, and more. Choice Earbuds X5 supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and works in tandem with a companion app, Honor AI Space.

Honor Choice Smartwatch: Features

The Honor Choice Smartwatch comes with a 1.95-inch AMOLED panel and a pixel resolution of 410×502 and 550 nits brightness. It comes with eight pre-installed watch faces and 21 AOD options. The watch packs a 300mAh battery that claims to offer 12 days of usage. There is built-in GPS support and the smartwatch is 5ATM rated for water and dust resistance.

Health sensors include heart rate monitoring, SpO2 sensor, and all-day stress level tracking. There are over 100 workout modes that include running, cycling, swimming, and more. Additional features include personalized breathing exercises, hydration alerts, sedentary reminders, and menstrual cycle management. It works with the Honor Health App enabling all kinds of health monitoring. Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity offers calling from the wrist.
