How To Access JioTV+ Application on Smart TVs in India

Reliance has rolled out the JioTV+ application for all the leading smart televisions in India. Earlier, the JioTV+ app was available only via a Jio set-top box bundled with a Jio Air Fiber connection, but now anyone can download it separately as an app on any smart TV. The JioTV+ app offers more than 800 digital channels spanning over 10 languages. Users will also get access to 13 OTT apps via a single login. JioTV+ Application: Availability

Android TV users can download the JioTV+ app from the Google Play Store for free. Apple TVs and TVs powered by Amazon Fire OS will also get access to the app. It can be downloaded from the Apple store and Amazon app stores. Samsung TV availability isn’t confirmed yet while LG TV availability will be announced soon. Jio users will be able to connect two TVs with a single JioFiber connection for free.

For Jio AirFiber users, it is available with specific plans like Rs. 599, and Rs. 899 or above postpaid plans. Prepaid users with plans priced at Rs. 999 and above.

JioTV+ Application: Features

The app comes with a suite of features that are made for user convenience. It needs a single sign-on and you also get a smart filter feature allowing users to look for channels by language, category, or channel number. Other features include adjustable playback speeds, catch-up TV for shows aired previously, personalized recommendations as per watch history, and a kids-safe zone with curated content for children.

Jio TV+ App: How to access smart TVs

Use your Android Smart TV remote/firestick remote or Apple TV remote to download the Jio TV+ app. After downloading the app, log in to it.
Go to the app store look for JioTV and choose JioTV+. Click on the app to install it and sign in with a valid phone number.
Authenticate using the OTP that you receive on your registered phone number. Start using the app.

Channels Available on JioTV+ App

Some channels available are Colors TV, Sony SAB, Star Plus, Zee TV, Aaj Tak, ABP News, Sony Ten, TV9, Sony Ten, DD Sports, Star Sports, MTV, and others.

Available OTT apps are Disney+Hotstar, Jio Cinema Premium, Sony Liv, Zee5, HoiChoi, Lionsgate Play, Shemaroo Me, Eros Now, SunNxt, and Discovery+
