Huawei tries to hit two marks with one arrow and by an arrow, we mean Mate X (Hands-on review), the company’s 5G foldable phone. It garnered a lot of traction on its announcement at MWC 2019. Now, Huawei plans to bring it to India very soon.

Huawei Mate X: Highlights

First and foremost, its a foldable phone and one that might give Samsung a run for the money. Contrast to the Samsung Galaxy Fold’s book like structure, this one has unfolds to transform the 6.6-inch full-screen smartphone into a 5.4mm thin, eight-inch tablet that features almost double the viewing area of the device in smartphone mode. Thus they designate the design as Falcon Wing Mechanical hinge.

Huawei bets on the fastest network speed which could be tested once 5G rolls out.

A triple camera setup powered by Leica optics acts as front cum rear shooters. The trio comprises of a primary 40MP sensor (wide-angle lens), 16MP (ultra-wide-angle lens), and an 8MP sensor (telephoto).
