Huawei has launched the Mate XT Ultimate Tri-Foldable smartphone in select global markets around the world. This triple-folding smartphone is one of its kind from the brand that was initially unveiled in China in September 2024. The foldable packs top-notch specs like a 10.2-inch display when unfolded, an in-house chipset, and a 50MP camera setup at the back. While the India launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet, in the meantime let us have a look at what the foldable entails and how much it costs globally.

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Tri-Fold: Price & Availability
Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Tri-Fold is priced at AED 12,999 (roughly Rs. 3,07,800) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It is currently up for grabs via the official website. The deliveries will begin on February 25 in black and red hues.

Huawei Mate XR Ultimate Tri-Fold: Features
The Huawei Mate XR Ultimate Tri-Fold features a 10.2-inch flexible LTPO OLED screen which becomes a 7.9-inch display when folded once, and a 6.4-inch screen when folded twice. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and 382ppi density.
The tri-foldable is powered by an in-house Kirin 9010 chipset with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It runs EMUI 14.2 out of the box. In terms of camera, there is a 50MP main sensor with OIS, along with a 12MP ultrawide sensor and a 12MP periscope telephoto camera with 5.5x optical zoom, and 50x digital zoom. At the front will be an 8MP sensor for selfies and video calls.

The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate packs a 5600mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, LTE, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. Tri-Foldable is IPX8 rated and weighs 298 grams. It measures 156.7x219x3.6mm when fully unfolded.
