Huawei Watch GT2 Pro and FreeBuds Pro ANC earphones announced

Huawei has announced Watch GT2 Pro and FreeBuds Pro TWS at its Seamless AI Life launch event. Huawei Watch GT2 Pro comes in Classic and Sports trim, and the FreeBuds Pro have adjustable ANC and supports different listening profiles.

Huawei Watch GT2 Pro

The Watch GT2 Pro is a premium offering featuring a sapphire glass on top of titanium chassis and ceramic back. The watch has a round dial and a 1.39-inch OLED display with a 454 x 454-pixel resolution. There are two buttons on the side frame as controls. It comes with built-in GPS, compass, and music playback.

Huawei uses its Kirin A1 chipset at the heart of the Watch GT2 Pro. It comes with 32MB RAM and 4GB onboard storage. The watch is capable of tracking over 100 workouts. There’s TruSeen 4.0+ for tracking heart rate, sleep, stress, and blood oxygen tracking.

It is said to offer up to 14-days battery life on typical usage, 30 hours with GPS enabled, and 24 hours of music playback. It comes with Qi Wireless standard support for charging and a 5-minute quick charge means 10 hours of usage. The GT2 Pro runs on Huawei’s own LiteOS.

The Huawei Watch GT2 Sport variant is priced at €329 whereas the Classic model will retail at €349. Both variants of the watch will be available later in September.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro

The Huawei FreeBuds Pro boast of Active Noise Cancellation with dynamic profiles that adjust audio output according to the ambiance.

These new TWS are powered by 11nm drivers and include a triple microphone array. There’s also a voice enhancement feature for audio calls. The FreeBuds Pro also have a unique squeeze control. They offer 30 hours of battery life without ANC and 20 hours with ANC. The Huawei FreeBuds Pro earbuds come in black, white, or silver shades and will retail for €199. They will go on sale sometime in October.
