After dealing with vex of Trump trade policy Huawei is back on track. In fact, it is all set to launch Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) which is scheduled for August 1 in India. Earlier in the day, Huawei’s e-commerce partner Amazon India created a teaser page revealing some of the key highlights and launch date of the phone.

Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) Specs and Features Officially Revealed

As evident from the image posted above, the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) flaunts a dual-tone finish on the rear panel somewhat similar to the Google Pixel lineup. On the front shines a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ LTPS LCD screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 84.3% screen-to-body ratio.

Like the Realme X, and Redmi K20 it also gets a pop-up camera module to ensure to offer an immersive fullscreen experience. From the images, it seems to have a noticeable chin which is something you will find in most similarly-specced phones.

This smartphone is going to be driven by Huawei’s Kirin 710F chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1TB using microSD card). It runs on Android 9 Pie-based Hauwei’s EMUI 9 ROM and backed by a 4,000mAh battery. In the age of Kirin 810, a Huawei device with older Kirin 710 will raise some eyebrows. Especially on a day when Huawei’s sub-brand officially announced Kirin 810 powered Honor 9X series in China.

Optics wise, the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) features a triple camera setup on the back. It includes a 16MP (f1.8) primary sensor, along with a trendy 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 2MP depth sensor. The pop-up module includes a 16MP selfie camera.

The Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) listing on Amazon India also reveals color options – Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue. If renders are anything thing to go by, both phones look color options attractive. Huawei is expected to price it under Rs. 20,000 in Indian maket.
