The iPhone 17 series is already making waves, even before the iPhone 16 series drops. Rumors have been flying, and we’re starting to get a clearer picture. Ice Universe on Weibo has leaked some details that seem pretty solid. These also match the details that were earlier leaked.
According to Ice, the iPhone 17 will have a 6.27-inch LTPO display at $799. The iPhone 17 Pro model will have the same screen size but will cost $1,099. The iPhone 17 Pro Max will boast a 6.86-inch LTPO display at $1199.
The big news is that the Plus will be replaced with the iPhone 17 “Slim” model. This “Slim” version will have a 6.65-inch LTPO display and will cost a whopping $1,299, potentially making it the most expensive iPhone ever.
- iPhone 17: 6.27” LTPO OLED, $799
- iPhone 17 Pro: 6.27” LTPO OLED, $1,099
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: 6.86” LTPO OLED, $1,199
- iPhone 17 Slim: 6.65” LTPO OLED, $1,299
One major upgrade is that the regular iPhone 17 will finally sport a 120 Hz refresh rate, thanks to the LTPO display. That’s a huge step up from the 60 Hz we’ll still see in the iPhone 16 series.

Further, the Pro and Pro Max models might come with 12 GB of RAM and a triple 48 MP camera system (main, ultra-wide, and telephoto). They’ll be powered by the Apple A19 Pro chipset, built on TSMC’s N3P process. The standard iPhone 17 is rumored to use a toned-down A19 chip, which will be less powerful.
There’s a bit of confusion around the Slim model, though. Despite its hefty price, it might only feature the A19 chip, a dual rear camera system, 8 GB of RAM, and an aluminum chassis—specs more in line with the regular iPhone 17. Given the price, you’d expect it to have all the bells and whistles of the Pro models.

Previous leak suggests that the iPhone 17 series, particularly the iPhone 17 Slim, will feature a sleeker design and a slimmer body. The Dynamic Island will also get smaller. Additionally, the entire lineup will purportedly boast a 24 MP front camera.
The iPhone 17 lineup is expected to be announced in September 2025. Until then, most of these details are just rumors, so take them with a grain of salt. Also, let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
