Infinix Note Edge 5G Launched in India With Curved AMOLED Display, Dimensity 7100, and 6,500mAh Battery

Infinix has officially launched the Note Edge 5G in India, targeting the crowded mid-range space with a mix of curved-screen design and AI features. The phone runs XOS 16 based on Android 16, and Infinix promises 3 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.

The Infinix Note Edge 5G will be sold via Flipkart, the Infinix India website, and offline retail stores in India. Here are the pricing details:

  • 8GB + 128GB: ₹23,999
  • 8GB + 256GB: ₹25,999

Infinix Note Edge Specs 

The biggest visual hook is the 3D curved 1.5K AMOLED display. Infinix says the panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color, and TÜV low blue light certification, along with a claimed 4,500 nits peak brightness and 1600 nits HBM. The phone also supports Wet Touch, which should help when your hands are damp.

Under the hood, Infinix confirms the Note Edge 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7100, and it markets it as India’s first phone with this chipset. Infinix claims a 750K+ AnTuTu score and advertises 90FPS gaming support.

The phone comes in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB variants, with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It also includes MemFusion, letting the 8GB model expand up to 16GB.

On cameras, the Note Edge 5G gets a 50MP dual rear camera setup, along with features like Live Photos, AI Eraser, and a list of additional shooting modes. The selfie camera is 13MP, as per Infinix’s official specs.

The Note Edge 5G packs a 6,500mAh cell and supports 45W fast charging, with the charger included. Infinix also includes software features like Bypass Charging, AI Charge Protection, Smart Charge, Low-Temperature charging, and reverse wired charging.

For durability, the phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance. It also includes NFC, which is rare in this segment. For audio, there’s dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL, along with Hi-Res Audio support.

Infinix is also pushing a lot of AI features, including its Folax AI assistant, a One Tap AI Button (with 30+ shortcuts), and tools like AI Wallpaper Generator, AIGC Portrait, AI Extender, AI Note, and Circle to Search. Infinix also claims buyers get 18 months of Google Gemini Pro bundled.
