Exactly two months later, Apple will introduce the upgrade to its numero uno software – iOS with the iOS 17 at the WWDC 2023 on June 5th. Although iOS 17 is speculated to have minimum cosmetic changes and only performance and stability improvements, there’s one exception that we might come across.

According to a story by MacRumors quoting an anonymous user, the iOS 17 will get a revamped Control Center. This is the same source that confirmed Dynamic Island on iPhone 14 Pro series last year. It gives the latest information quite a gravitas.

There are not many details available about the iOS 17 Control Center revamp except the fact that it will get some cosmetic changes. Control Center on iOS has been around for a decade now and in fact, it will be its 10th year on the job which puts the speculation around it’s revamp a much more likelihood.

The Control Center on iOS has largely been unchanged. It was initially introduced with iOS 7 and has been getting a few tweaks with every iteration for a decade now. Control Center lets users access display brightness, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, volume, and other system functions. It is intuitive although Android devices have left it behind with a much more customizable notification tray.

The upcoming iOS 17 could bring some changes to the Control Center. It includes the ability to customize stuff and of course, the cosmetic changes are in the picture too.

As per the timeline, iOS 17 will be announced at the WWDC 2023 on June 5th. The first beta will roll out later that day. The iOS 17 stable update will roll out this fall alongside iPhone 15 series. For the unversed, iPhone 15 series have their share of speculations as well. We have been covering for a few months now so that you as readers are up-to-date.
