iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Prices Revealed

Some speculations a delay in the iPhone 12 lineup launch due to COVID-19, while others claim to know bits and pieces of iPhone 12 design and specs. Now, renowned Tipster Jon Prosser also jumped in with the iPhone 12 series price-list.

Through a youtube video and a tweet, he revealed the iPhone 12 line-up details and prices. He claims to have verified prices with an insider source in the company. It is worth point out that Prosser’s most of the tips have been accurate over the years.

As per Processer, Apple seems to be working on iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max codenamed D52G, D53G, D53P, D54P.

The basic iPhone 12 to come in two screen sizes – 5.4-inch OLED screen and 6.1-inch OLED screen. Both said to carry 5G support and dual rear cameras. The iPhone 12 D52G, iPhone 12 D53G said to carry a price tags of $649 (Rs 48,723 approx) and $749 (Rs 56,230 approx) respectively.

According to Processor, the iPhone 12 Pro D53P will also feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with LiDAR Support. He believes iPhone 12 Pro will include triple cameras setup at the back. He claims, the iPhone 12 Pro will be priced at $999 (Rs 74,999 approx).

The iPhone 12 Pro Max D54P will be at the top of the ladder. Apple to offer iPhone 12 Pro Max with OLED, 5G support, LiDAR support and three cameras. As per the claim, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will be priced at $1,099 (Rs 82,506).

Prices revealed by well-connected Apple insider Jon Prosser are true, it would impressive pricing for western countries considering the 5G support. If you recall, Samsung Galaxy S20 5G series costs 20-percent more than 4G phones in the US. However, Apple seems to offer fifth-generation network-compatible smartphones for the price of the iPhone 11 line-up.
