Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max have a lower back glass repair cost than previous models. Over the years, iPhone users have been scared of dropping their phone or damaging the back glass in any manner, as the repair cost was too high. Take the iPhone 14 Pro Max as an example. The cost of repairing its rear glass is almost half the cost of the phone itself. However, thanks to the new internal structure of the iPhone 15 Pro models, the repair cost has decreased considerably.

iPhone 15 Pro Rear Glass Repair Cost

In India, the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s rear glass repair cost is Rs. 16,900, and those with AppleCare+ can get it done for Rs. 2,500. This is a massive relief for customers as the same iPhone 14 Pro Max service costs Rs. 59,900, almost half the cost of the original phone. On the other hand, if users ever get their iPhone 15 Pro’s back panel damaged, they can get it repaired for Rs. 14,900, more than three times less than the repair cost of the iPhone 14 Pro.

iPhone 15 Pro back glass repair costs

Per Apple’s official website, repairing an iPhone 15 Pro Max’s rear panel costs $199. Those with an active AppleCare+ plan can get the service done for $29. In comparison, the cost to repair an iPhone 14 Pro Max’s rear glass is $549, while the phone came out at $1,099 for the 128GB base variant. Similarly, the company can repair the iPhone 15 Pro’s back glass for just $169, which is almost a third of what users would pay for the iPhone 14 Pro.

In India, a two-year subscription to AppleCare+ for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max costs Rs. 20,900. Users would have to pay Rs for the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus. 14,900 and Rs. 17,900, respecitvely. For those catching up, the iPhone 15 series is available for pre-orders and will be on sale from September 22, 2023. However, while the regular models will ship immediately, the Pro models will be delayed.
