iQOO 12 5G Anniversary Edition Confirmed to Arrive in India Soon

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is all set to complete four years in India. To celebrate the occasion, iQOO has announced the launch of iQOO 12 5G Anniversary Edition in the country. iQOO 12 was originally announced in December 2023 following which smartphones like Xiaomi 14 and OnePlus 12 were launched. Today iQOO has announced that it will soon be launching a special anniversary edition of the iQOO 12 5G smartphone to celebrate the brand’ 4th anniversary.

CEO of iQOO India, Nipun Marya shared a letter via his social media account which thanks the customers of iqoo as the brand completes four years. The letter also confirms that the company will bring the iQOO 12 5G Anniversary Edition to India soon. While the exact date of launch hasn’t been announced yet, it is expected to be confirmed soon. The CEO hasn’t mentioned anything about how the anniversary edition will be different from the regular edition but speculations are rife that it might be the Red color variant that is exclusive to China as of now.

A plethora of deals and discounts are also expected to be announced for the same in the coming days. The special edition device will retail via Amazon and the iQOO India website.

Most of the specs of the anniversary edition are expected to be similar to the regular edition.

iQOO 12 5G: Specs

iQOO 12 5G flaunts a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED panel with 2800×1260 pixel resolution, HDR10+, and 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with 3000 nits brightness and 2160 PWM dimming. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with Adreno GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 512GB onboard storage.

iQOO 12 runs Android 14-based OriginOS 4.0 out of the box and packs a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging. In terms of camera, there is a 50MP Omnivision OV50H primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 64MP telephoto sensor at the back. At the front is a 16MP selfie camera.

Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Hi-Res audio, and more.
