iQoo’s recent smartphones, the iQoo 12 and the iQoo Neo 9 Pro, have performed well in the Indian market. Both handsets feature a Snapdragon chipset, fast charging, and an excellent set of cameras, offering users a well-packaged deal. Building on the success of these models, the company has begun spinning the clock on its next flagship, the iQoo 13. Details about the smartphone first started to show up in April 2024.

Larger Battery On The iQoo 13 Could Provide More Usage Hours

As per the latest leak via the tipster Smart Pikachu (on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo), the iQoo 13 will offer a 6,000 mAh battery, which is 1,000 larger than the iQoo 12 that came out last year. Further, the larger cell is also touted to support 120W fast wired charging, which should pump in enough energy to charge the phone in about 30 to 40 minutes. It is important to mention that the iQoo 12 also offers 120W wired charging speed.

The iQoo 13 Series Could Consist Of Two Models

We’ve heard some rumors about the iQoo 13 featuring a 1.5K flat display in the past. Further, there seems to be an iQoo 13 Pro in the pipeline, which could ship with a 2K curved display. Both smartphones will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which should break cover later this year at the Snapdragon Summit.

While that is the extent of information available about the iQoo 13 series, we expect the handsets to ship with certain on-device AI processing abilities. As companies like Samsung and Google pack their phones with the latest AI-based features, other manufacturers like iQoo must catch up. Given that iQoo’s flagships belong to the premium segment, they’ll face fierce competition later this year, with Apple foraying into the smartphone AI space in September.
