TL; DR
- iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya has confirmed the iQOO 15 launch in India with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, tagging it as “Coming Soon.”
- The iQOO 15 will debut in China this October, followed by an India launch in November at around ₹65,000.
- It won’t be the first 8 Elite Gen 5 phone in India though; that title belongs to the realme GT 8 Pro (at least that’s what we know).
iQOO has made it official: the iQOO 15 is coming to India, powered by the newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Nipun Marya took to X and described the phone as “Not just a flagship. The flagship” while confirming its upcoming release. They’d also confirmed the arrival of Origin OS 6 in India, replacing Funtouch OS on future iQOO and vivo devices.

iQOO 15 Specs
The iQOO 15 is scheduled for a China launch in October 2025, with pre-orders already open on vivo’s official site and partner retailers. The India launch window is mid to late November.

On the hardware side, the phone is expected to feature a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung M14 AMOLED display, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 6000 Nits peak brightness. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 + Q3 graphics chip, paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage.

For cameras, iQOO may go with a 50 MP primary + 50 MP ultrawide + 50 MP periscope telephoto, plus a 32 MP front camera. Battery capacity is tipped at around 7,000 mAh with 100W wired charging and possible wireless charging support.

Design-wise, the iQOO 15 features a metal frame, IP68 rating, and a squircle camera module. New color options are also expected, including a color-changing variant that has now been confirmed.

Expected Pricing
The iQOO 15 is likely to start just under ₹60,000, but higher variants could push it close to ₹65,000. That puts it in direct competition with the realme GT 8 Pro, which is arriving earlier in India as the first 8 Elite Gen 5 flagship. The battle for late 2025’s flagship killer crown is already heating up. Would you pick the iQOO 15 over the realme GT 8 Pro?
