iQOO Neo 6 is a high-performing mid-range smartphone launched in India at around INR29,999/-. Well, the device is set to be a big brother as the Chinese brand is working towards launching its successor aptly named iQOO Neo 7. Perhaps, it will also have one of the fastest charging techs if reports are to be believed.

Upcoming iQOO Neo 7 spotted on 3C Certification Website

iQOO Neo 7 is likely to get a beefed-up 120W fast charging tech instead of the 80W on its predecessor. A hunky 5000mAh battery will join the wagon too. The information was leaked out by a Chinese tipster who spotted a 5G phone with model V2231A sporting these battery specs on the Chinese 3C certification website. It also signals that the phone will be launched imminently in its home country.

Moving on, a previous leak suggests that the iQOO Neo 7 will get Dimensity 9000+ SoC under the hood. It is an upgrade over the predecessor’s Dimensity 9000 SoC. Next up, we have an FHD+ display onboard paired with a 120Hz refresh rate.

There’s some information on the camera rig as well. The phone likely has a square camera island housing a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary snapper while there are 13MP ultrawide and 12 which is of higher resolution than Neo 6’s 13MP shooter. For perspective, the 50MP snapper is the same as that of the iQOO 8 Pro.

When it comes to the design, the phone was teased by Chinese Singer Zhou Shen who gave out its back panel design housing a square camera island. The phone has a blue-colored variant although it remains to be seen what exactly it will be called.

The iQOO Neo 7 is slated to launch soon given the fact that it recently made it to 3C. However, there’s no confirmed date so you’ll have to wait although the phone is slated to arrive this month at the earliest.
