Earlier in the day, the CEO of iQOO India confirmed that a new Neo smartphone will be coming to India very soon. iQOO Neo 7 Pro is expected to arrive in India by the first week of June. Meanwhile, the brand has launched the iQOO Neo 8 Series and iQOO Pad in its home country China. iQOO Neo 8 Series includes iQOO Neo 8 and iQOO Neo 8 Pro and has a faux leather finish with a circular camera module at the back. Let us have a look at the specs of these devices.

iQOO Neo 8 Series: Features

iQOO Neo 8 series smartphones sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset while the vanilla model will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU.

The smartphones have up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. These smartphones run Android 13 OS with Origin OS 3.0 and pack a 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Connectivity options will include 5G, 4G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.

In terms of cameras, the iQOO Neo 8 features a 50MP primary and a 2MP bokeh lens at the back while the iQOO Neo 8 Pro comes with a 50MP main and, 8MP ultrawide sensor. At the front will be a 16MP selfie camera.

iQOO Neo 8 Series: Pricing

The iQOO Neo 8 comes in the following storage models-

  • 12GB RAM+256GB storage- RMB 2499 (Rs. 29,400)
  • 12GB RAM+512GB storage- RMB 2799 (Rs. 32,900)
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- RMB 3099 (Rs. 36,400)

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro comes in the following storage configurations-

  • 16GB RAM+256GB storage- RMB 3299 (Rs. 38,800)
  • 16GB RAM+512GB storage- RMB 3599 (Rs. 42,300)

The phones will go on sale in China from May 31st and will be available in Surf, Match Point, and Night Black shades.

iQOO Pad: Specs

The iQOO Pad comes with a metal unibody and a circular camera module at the back. It sports a 12.1-inch 2.8K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 600 nits brightness. The Pad has a stylus and touch keyboard both retailing separately.

The Pad features a 13MP+2MP camera setup at the back and an 8MP front-facing camera. There are 4 full-range speakers, two tweeters, and connectivity options like WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB C port, and more.

The iQOO Pad is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It packs a 10,000mAh battery with 44W charging and runs Android 13-based Origin OS 3.
