Jersey & RRR (Hindi) to stream on Netflix from May 20: Check out what else you can watch over the weekend

The Month of May 2022 has come with a lot of expectations in terms of content and new OTT Releases. We have already seen the streaming of Kashmir Files, Bachchan Pandey, and more but it is not all. This week will see various major movies and shows streaming on OTT platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and more. These include Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey, Ram Charan’s RRR (Hindi), and more. Best of OTT in May 2022

1. Jersey (Hindi)

Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer Jersey which was released in Theatres on April 22, is all set to have its digital premiere on Netflix India on 20th May. In fact, Netflix has announced that it will drop at midnight today.

Jersey is about an ex-cricketer struggling to make ends meet, who wants to fulfill his child’s wish of getting a Jersey but in the process comes face to face with his heroic past and is forced to decide if he will rise to the occasion and become a symbol of hope or continue to live life as a loser?

2. RRR (Hindi)

The film depicts the story of 2 revolutionaries and their journey during the pre-independence era. It will stream on Netflix India and Zee5. The movie was originally released on March 24.

The film stars NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, and Alia Bhatt and is one of the most acclaimed movies of the year.

3. KGF Chapter 2

Pan-India blockbuster starring Yash is now available to rent on Amazon Prime Video. Fans of the KGF franchise can get early access to the movie before a digital subscription with movie rentals on Prime Video.

Prime Members and all others will be able to rent the movie for INR 199 on Amazon Prime Video. It can be accessed via the Store tab on primevideo.com and Prime Video app on Android smartphones, smart TVs, connected STBs, and Fire TV Stick. 

Customers will get a 48-hour window to complete the film once playback is initiated. You can start watching the movie within 30 days of the transaction date. The movie is available to rent in 5 languages- Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam in HD quality.

A sequel to the 2018 film, KGF Chapter 1, Chapter 2 follows Rocky whose name now strikes fear in the blood-soaked Kolar Gold Fields. It stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and others.

4. Panchayat Season 2

 The much-awaited show will be back with its Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video. It will be time to return to Phulera, Uttar Pradesh, and peek into the life of Panchayat Secretary Abhishek Tripathi with a new season. It depicts the struggles of this man as he tries to cope with the rural population and their lifestyle.

Starring- Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and others in lead roles.
