Reliance Jio in collaboration with its wholly-owned subsidiary Radisys Corporation and Qualcomm has begun 5G trials in the country. The concerned parties had a virtual summit to discuss the operation and development of 5G service and infrastructure.

The alliance has also tested Jio 5G NR (New Radio) solution on Qualcomm 5G RAN (Radio access network) Platforms. And attained speeds of up to 1Gbps.
