Reliance Jio recently increased the price of its prepaid and postpaid recharge plans making them about 15 to 20% more expensive. Along with the price hike, changes were also made to the benefits packed with the new and old plans. However, now there is some good news for Jio users as the company has rolled out two new 2GB per day data packs that are slightly more affordable and thus have the chance of becoming popular among the users. Let us have a look at these two new 2GB per day data packs.
Jio New 2GB per day Data Plans
1. Jio Rs. 1028 Recharge Plan- Priced at INR 1028, this plan includes unlimited voice calling and 100 free SMS per day with a validity of 84 days. Also, the users will get 2GB of data per day which means 168GB of data for the entire plan period. Users will also get unlimited 5G data in areas where Jio 5G is available.
Additional benefits include Swiggy One Lite membership, Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud memberships.
2. Jio Rs. 1029 Recharge Plan- Priced at INR 1029, this plan includes unlimited voice calling and 100 free SMS per day with a validity of 84 days. Users will also get 2GB data per day for 84 days which means a total of 168GB data. Just like the 1028 plan, this plan will also offer access to unlimited 5G data in locations where Jio 5G is available.
Additional benefits include Amazon Prime Lite subscription, Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud memberships.

Other 2GB per day Data Plans
- Rs. 198 Plan- Benefits include 2GB data per day for 14 days along with Unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud apps.
- Rs. 349 Plan- Benefits include 2GB data per day for 28 days along with Unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud apps.
- Rs. 448 Plan- Benefits include 2GB data per day for 28 days along with Unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Sony LIV, Zee5, Lionsgate Play, Discovery+, Sun NXT, Kanchha Lannka, Planet Marathi, Chaupal, Hoichoi, FanCode, and Jio Cloud apps.
- Rs. 629 Plan- Benefits include 2GB data per day for 56 days along with Unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud apps.
- Rs. 719 Plan- Benefits include 2GB data per day for 70 days along with Unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud apps.
- Rs. 749 Plan- Benefits include 2GB data per day for 72 days along with Unlimited calling, 100 SMS per day, and subscriptions to Jio TV, Jio Cinema, and Jio Cloud apps. There will also be 20GB of additional data.
