Reliance Jio has launched yet another affordable feature phone in the country, called JioBharat B1. The phone offers all the basic features like 4G connectivity, expandable storage, a built-in FM player, and a color screen. Here’s everything you need to know about the JioBharat B1, its features, and price.

JioBharat B1 Features

The JioBharat B1 feature phone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA screen. Unlike other models in the segment, B1’s screen is slightly elevated than the keypad. Under the hood, the device runs on Threadx RTOS with 50MB of RAM. It also supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The phone only works with nano-SIM cards (for providing 4G connectivity), whether old or new. Further, one can use both old and new Jio SIMs.

JioBharat B1 has a 2,000 mAh battery with a standby time of 343 hours. The actual battery life depends on usage, although the phone should last a couple of days on a charge. In the box, the company provides a power adapter. Users also get a digital camera with 0.3MP resolution. Interestingly enough, the JioBharat B1 has a rear rectangular camera module, which resembles the horizontal camera visor on the Google Pixel series.

Other connectivity options on the feature phone include a micro USB port, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Jio is also promoting access to streaming services like JioCinema and JioSaavn and the company’s digital payment platform, JioPay, on the phone. Last but not least, there’s an LED torch, support for 23 languages, and a built-in FM radio.

JioBharat B1 Price

The JioBharat B1 4G is available on Amazon for Rs. 1,299. However, the listing price of the phone stands steep at Rs. 2,599. The device is only available in black color.
