JioFiber has always introduced user-friendly plans for an enhanced experience. Recently, the company introduced a new ‘back-up’ plan right before the start of the IPL 2023. The latest plan of Jio is priced at Rs 198 and allows the consumers to upgrade the speed from 10Mbps to 30Mbps or 100Mbps with 1/2/7 days options. This can be said to be the cheapest plan ever introduced by Jio until now. The plan targets users who have a requirement of backup connection in situations when their primary connection is not working properly.

In addition to that, the plan will also work as a budget broadband connection. It is perfect for people who have unconnected homes and are just getting started with a fixed-line connection. The mentioned plans will be available from March 30, 2023. The JioFiber backup plan provides unlimited data along with a one-click speed upgrade, bundled up with free landline calls. The plan delivers a 10Mbps speed on a basic note. Nonetheless, users can buy the one-day, two-day, or seven-day voucher as per their requirement to upgrade the speed up to 30Mbps or 100Mbps. One thing to mention here is that the speed upgrades will be valid for a given amount of time.

JioFiber backup plan details

The 30Mbps pass for one day will be available for Rs 21, two days for Rs 31, and seven days for Rs 101. On the other hand, the 100Mbps plan will for one day is priced at Rs 31, two days for Rs 52, and seven days for Rs 152. Moreover, Jio will be providing upgrades related to entertainment with these plans too. When a consumer buys the Rs 298 plan, they will get 6 OTT applications and a setup box with access to 400 live channels. Customers who will buy the Rs 398 plans will have 14 OTT applications along with their hands 500 live channels. Customers opting for only internet will be supposed to pay an amount of Rs 198 along with additional GST per month.

Jio has introduced a five-month advanced payment option which will cost the customers around Rs 198, along with an additional Rs 500 installation charge. Customers interested in the same can register for a new connection by dropping a miss call on 60008 60008. Apart from that, the users can also visit the official website of Jio to get the connection.
