Lenovo Expands Legion Pro laptops lineup in India: Know Price & Specifications

After showcasing its latest gaming laptops at CES 2024 earlier this year, Lenovo has finally launched them in India. The new laptops include the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, Legion Pro 5i, Legion 7i, and Legion 5i. These laptops can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra i9-14900HX and up to NVIDIA RTX 4090 GPU. 

More importantly, the laptops are powered by the LA AI chip that improves the FPS and rendering in games. It also enables fast processing on generative AI without having to rely on the cloud. Let’s take a close look at the pricing and specifications of these laptops so that you can decide which one is the best for you.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i and Legion Pro 5i

Let’s start with the elephants in the room, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i and the Legion Pro 5i. Both models are available in the same screen size, that is, 16 inches. The display is an IPS screen with up to 500 nits of brightness and a 240 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Lenovo Legion Pro series is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra i9-14900HX or Core i7-14650HX processors. The i9 variant of the Legion Pro 7i boasts a power consumption of up to 235W TDP, while the Legion Pro 5i is rated at a total TDP of up to 200W. Although you get a 330W or 300W adapter in the box.

Both laptops offer up to 32 GB of DDR5 dual-channel RAM clocked at 5600 MHz that will enable all your games to run without a hiccup in the graphics. Speaking of graphics, both laptops boast up to RTX 4090 GPU to meet all your gaming and graphics-intensive needs. 

Legion Pro 7i

Lenovo has gone above and beyond by adding additional features like an extra-wide vapor chamber, liquid metal infusion, and AI-driven power management to ensure that performance throttling is at a minimum.

Both laptops are equipped with a 1080p webcam, per-key RGB backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, and Rapid Charge Pro technology that can quickly charge the large batteries inside. The Legion Pro 7i houses a 99.99Wh battery, while the Legion Pro 5i features an 80Wh battery.

Lenovo Legion 7i and Legion 5i

If you want something more affordable, Lenovo has the Lenovo Legion 7i and Legion 5i in store for you. The vanilla Legion laptops feature a 16-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600) IPS display with 100% sRGB, 350 nits of brightness, and a 165Hz refresh rate. 

Both laptops are available in two processor configurations, which include the Intel Core Ultra i9-14900HX and the 14th Generation Intel Core i7-14650HX processor. The Legion 7i boasts the LA3 AI chip while the Legion 5i settles for the LA1 AI chip.

Lenovo Legion 5i

Lenovo retains the PureSight gaming display, TrueStrike 4-zone RGB keyboard, and AI features for enhanced performance on the vanilla models as well. The webcam is a 1080p shooter for clear and crisp videos.

The Legion 7i features a 99.99Wh large battery, providing up to 5 hours of usage, while the Legion 5i is equipped with a smaller 80Wh battery, offering up to 3.5 hours of usage. Both laptops come with a 230W slim 3-pin AC adapter for charging.
