Lumio, a technology brand established by former executives from Xiaomi and Flipkart, is preparing to make its debut in the Indian Smart TV market. The company has revealed plans to launch two models, the Lumio Vision 7 and Lumio Vision 9, on April 10th. Lumio has already released some teasers for the upcoming launch and is gearing up to compete in the highly competitive Smart Television sector in India.

Lumio Smart TVs: Launch Details

Lumio TVs will launch in India on 10th April. Lumio will sell the TVs via Amazon India as a dedicated microsite has gone live where you can apply for notification about the TV’s arrival.

Lumio Smart TVs: Features

The Lumio Vision TV 7 and TV 9 will feature an in-house ‘Boss’ processor and 3GB of DDR4 RAM. These models will include a WiFi chip offering 2.1 times faster connectivity than competitors. They will operate on Android TV with a Google TV interface.

According to Lumio, their Smart TVs are reported to be twice as fast as Sony and other top brands in various aspects, including memory performance, app loading times, scrolling speed, installation duration, and reboot times. Additionally, Lumio asserts that their TVs experience 12 times fewer frame drops during 4K 60fps YouTube video playback. The company has yet to disclose specific model numbers and pricing for these upcoming smart TVs.

Lumio aims to introduce products that “challenge convention.” Circuit House Technologies, established by former executives from Xiaomi and Flipkart, announced its entry into the home entertainment market last month with the Lumio brand. The new Smart TVs will be produced in India by Dixon Technologies.
