Here’s Everything We Expect To See At the ‘Made By Google’ Event on August 13

Google is preparing to host one of the year’s most significant technology events, the Made By Google Event, scheduled for August 13th. It has been officially announced that the event will feature the launch of the Pixel 9 Series smartphones, which will consist of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, the announcements will extend beyond just smartphones. Google is also set to unveil a variety of additional products, including the Pixel Watch 3 Series, Pixel Buds Pro 2, a new Chromecast streamer, and the Android 15 operating system. Google Pixel 9

Google Pixel 9 सीरीज़

The Pixel 9 Series is expected to get a design overhaul this time. It will mostly feature a flat frame design, moving away from the curved edges that were seen earlier. It will have a floating island-style camera module. It will feature a 6.3-inch Actua display. The Pixel 9 will sport a 50MP wide camera and 48MP ultrawide camera at the back along with a 10.5MP selfie sensor at the front. The device will be powered by Tensor G4 chipset and ship with up to 12GB RAM.

The Pixel 9 is expected to launch in two storage models 128GB and 256GB priced at 899 euros and 999 euros respectively. It will come in Obsidian, Porcelain, Cosmo, and Mojito shades.

Google Pixel 9 Pro

The Pixel 9 Pro will have a similar design language as Pixel 9. It will be powered by Tensor G4 chipset with up to 16GB RAM. The device will boast of 6.3-inch Actua display and feature a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto sensor at the back. At the front will be a 42MP selfie snapper.

The Pixel 9 Pro is rumored to arrive in three storage models 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB priced at 1099 Euros, 1199 Euros, and 1329 euros respectively. It will come in Pink, Hazel, Obsidian, and Porcelain hues.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL

The larger version, namely the Pixel 9 Pro XL will come with a 6.8-inch Super Actua display. It will be powered by Tensor G4 chipset with up to 16GB RAM. In terms of cameras, there will be a 50MP main, 48MP ultrawide, and 48MP telephoto cameras at the back. There will also be a 42MP selfie sensor at the front.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL might come in three storage configurations 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB priced at 1199 euros, 1299 euros, and 1429 euros respectively. It will come in Hazel, Porcelain, and Obsidian hues. 1TB version might come for 1689 euros.

Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

The next-generation foldable will have a 10MP selfie shooter at the front. It will have a 48MP main, 10.5MP ultrawide, and 10.8MP telephoto sensors at the back. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold will also be powered by Tensor G4 chipset paired with up to 16GB RAM. It will flaunt a 6.3-inch Actua cover display and an 8-inch Super Actua Flex display.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is speculated to arrive in 256GB and 512GB storage models priced at 1899 euros and 2029 euros. It will come in obsidian and porcelain colors.

All four Pixel 9 Series smartphones will have Gemini AI and other features as well. These include Pixel Screenshots, Emergency SOS, Seven Years of Pixel Drops, Circle to Search, and more.

Google Pixel Watch 3 Series

In 2023, the Google Pixel Watch 2 was launched with the Pixel 8 Series. The tradition will continue this time as the brand will launch the Pixel Watch 3 Series with the Pixel 9 Series of smartphones. Yes, you heard it right this time it will be the Pixel Watch 3 Series that will include two watches- the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Watch 3 XL. The Pixel Watch 3XL will be a larger model of the Pixel Watch 3 and measure 45mm as compared to 41mm on standard Pixel Watch 3. The watches will feature brighter displays and come with higher resolution. The Pixel Watch 3 Series is also expected to come with an ultra-wideband chip for short-range communication and location tracking features.

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2

Google might also revamp the audio segment with a new TWS launch. The second-generation Pixel Buds Pro 2 is expected to have the same design as the Pixel Buds Pro but feature better audio quality. The earbuds will most likely come in black, grey, pink, and green shades. Details about specs will be known on the launch day.

Google TV Streamer

Google is all set to completely overhaul the Chromecast with Google TV by launching a Google TV Streamer. This TV Streaming device will look like a set-top box and be completely different from the dongle design that is seen for the current generation model. It will be called Google TV Streamer and come with a remote that will also have a new design. The remote will have volume buttons at the front and the microphone button will replace the Google Assistant button. The remote might get a customizable button for quick actions.

Android 15 OS

Google rolled out the last update in the Android 15 Beta program recently. This implies that the brand is ready to launch Android 15 and it will be a part of the upcoming Google Pixel 9 series. Android 15 comes with new capabilities like improved NFC, Satellite connectivity, theft protection, better cover display support for flip phones, hiding sensitive information, a redesigned user interface, and much more.
