To celebrate the 121st birth anniversary of industrialist and Bharat Ratna J.R.D. Tata, Amazon MX Player, and Almightly Motion Pictures have shared the first look of their upcoming web series. The show is titled ‘Made in India- A Titan Story’ and it gives an insight into the life of J.R.D. Tata was one of the most significant visionaries of India. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah has stepped into the lead role in the series.

Made in India-A Titan Story: Release Date & Platform
The show will stream on Amazon MX Player and Amazon Prime Video OTT platforms. The release date hasn’t been announced yet, but reports claim it might hit the streamer in early 2026. The show will stream for free, reaching Indian and International audiences simultaneously.

The show is based on Titan: Inside India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand Book written by Vinay Kamath, and the series has six episodes. It will follow Titan as it develops from a daring concept to a national icon beginning in the 1980s. The making of the slimmest watch ever and homage to JRD Tata’s principles are the highlights of the series.
The makers claim that the show goes beyond a mere biopic examining leadership, business, and India’s economic journey after independence.

Naseeruddin Shah plays JRD Tata while Jim Sarbh plays Xerves Desai, who founded Titan, revolutionising India’s watch market. Other cast members are Paresh Ganatra, Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and others.
The show is written by Karan Vyas and directed by Robby Grewal of Almight Motion Pictures. It has been produced by Prabhleen Sandhu.
