Mahindra XEV 9e: 5 Key Things To Know About The All-Electric SUV

Mahindra has introduced multiple configurations for both models, offering different battery capacities and feature sets.

  • BE 6 starts at ₹18.90 lakh for the base variant with a 59 kWh battery, while the XEV 9e begins at ₹21.90 lakh for the same setup.
  • The larger 79 kWh battery option is available only on the BE 6, priced at ₹20.50 lakh.
  • Higher trims, including Pack Two and Pack Three Select, start at ₹21.90 lakh and go up to ₹27.90 lakh for the XEV 9e.
  • Top-end Pack Three variants, featuring a 79 kWh battery, are priced at ₹26.90 lakh for the BE 6 and ₹30.50 lakh for the XEV 9e.

Delivery Timeline & Booking Process

Mahindra has planned a staggered delivery schedule based on the variant selection:

  • Mid-March 2025: Deliveries begin for Pack Three (79 kWh) variants.
  • June 2025: Pack Three Select (59 kWh) variants roll out.
  • July 2025: Pack Two (59 kWh) models start shipping.
  • August 2025: Pack One (59 kWh) deliveries will start.

To streamline the booking process, customers can express their model and variant preference starting February 6, 2025, at 10 AM via Mahindra’s official EV portal.

Charging Options & Additional Costs

The base price does not include charger and installation costs. Buyers can choose from:

  • 7.2 kW charger: ₹50,000
  • 11.2 kW charger: ₹75,000
