Mahindra XUV400 EV to come in 3 variants in India: Test Drive begins in December 2022

Mahindra is all set to launch its next electric SUV for the Indian market. The XUV400 EV is all set to be available for a test drive next month. Recently, a Delhi RTO document has revealed more about the features of the EV. The Mahindra XUV400 EV will be arriving in 3 variants- Base, EP, and EL.

Mahindra XUV400 EV: Expected price & delivery date

The Mahindra XUV400 EV is expected to be priced from 17 lakh onwards. The price will be announced in January 2023, post which the deliveries will begin.

Mahindra XUV400 EV: Features

Mahindra’s affordable Electric SUV will come in 3 variants- Base, EP, and EL. There will be 5 color choices- Arctic Blue, Everest White, Napoli Black, Infinity Blue, and Galaxy Grey. To differentiate between the electric model and the ICE model, one needs to pay attention to the contrasting copper bits and closed-off grille.

The Mahindra XUV400 EV gets a 150PS/310Nm motor and packs a 39.5kWh battery. Electric SUV claims to go from 0 to 100kmph in 8.3 seconds and can give a range of up to 456km on a single charge.

The SUV is loaded with features. This includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, and Apple Car Play, connected car tech, smartwatch control, joystick gear selection, rear parking camera, a single-pane sunroof, and keyless entry with push button start. For safety, there are 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control.
