TL; DR
  • Spy shots reveal the Mahindra BE 07’s cabin will use a triple-screen dashboard layout.
  • A windscreen-mounted camera unit was also spotted, function still unconfirmed at this stage.
  • BE 07 expected to use the INGLO platform with 59kWh/79kWh battery options in 2027.

Mahindra’s BE 6 is one of its most successful launches in a while, and I’m not talking about this from an EV-only perspective. The way people feel about the futuristic look and genuinely cruise-worth range of the car (on the long-range variant) speaks a lot about how the product has sit well with its target audience.

Mahindra BE 07’s Interiors Spied Ahead Of Launch

Now, fresh spy shots have given us a clear look inside the Mahindra BE 07. For those catching up, it is the production version of the BE 07 concept that will sit above the BE 6 in the automaker’s electric-only sub-brand. Given that the car is slated for a 2027 arrival, this cabin reveal comes well before any official unveiling.

The dashboard carries something that has become quite popular in the recent times: a triple screen setup. It looks like the EV SUV will feature a trio of large displays, mirroring the layout Mahindra has already used on the XEV 9e and XEV 9S.

We can also see a compact camera unit mounted on the windscreen, though whether it functions as a built-in dashcam or complements the ADAS system is something we’re yet to find out. Mahindra’s existing BE and XEV models use their 360-degree camera setup to capture footage during emergencies, though continuous recording needs an external USB drive.

You should also expect a two-spoke wheel carrying the brand’s electric-specific “butterfly” logo. Underneath, the BE 07 will most likely ride on the INGLO platform with the same 59kWh and 79kWh battery options we’ve already seen and tested on the BE 6.

I think the triple-screen carryover signals Mahindra is committed to a consistent cabin identity across its BE and XEV lines. To me, it sounds like a sensible move for brand recognition, though it does mean the BE 07 will need to win buyers over with other aspects such as space, range, and pricing.
