Maruti Suzuki, a prominent player in the automotive industry, has officially launched the latest iteration of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire in India. The fourth generation of the Dzire is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+, with CNG options offered in the mid-tier VXi and ZXi trims. Additionally, the company provides a subscription service for the Dzire, with a monthly EMI starting at Rs. 18,248. Maruti Dzire 2024: Price & Availability

The prices start at Rs. 6.79 lakh for the base model and go all the way up to Rs. 10.14 lakh for the tap model (in Delhi).

  • Petrol variant LXI- Rs. 6.79 lakh
  • Petrol variant VXI- Rs. 7.79 lakh
  • Petrol variant ZXI-Rs. 8.89 lakh
  • Petrol variant ZXI+-Rs. 9.69 lakh

For those who want an Automated Gear Shift transmission, the prices are-

  • Rs. 8.24 lakh for VXI
  • Rs. 9.34 lakh for ZXI

The pricing for CNG models is-

  • VXI-Rs. 8.74 lakh
  • ZXI-Rs. 9.84 lakh

All these prices are ex-showroom and introductory prices valid till 31st December 2024.

It comes in seven attractive shades- Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Bluish Black, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, and Gallant Red.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire 2024: Features & Design

The latest Dzire measures 3995mm in length, 1735mm in width, and 1525mm in height, featuring a wheelbase of 2450mm. Its design has been completely revamped, distinguishing it from the Swift. The front showcases a flat hood paired with Crystal Vision headlamps that include black accents, complemented by a gold hexagonal grille with chrome detailing. The doors and fenders exhibit enhanced contours, while the alloy wheels in the higher variants boast a diamond-cut finish. At the rear, the vehicle is equipped with squarish LED tail lamps featuring 3D trinity elements. Additionally, it offers a generous boot space of 382 liters and introduces a segment-first electric sunroof.

The interior of the new Dzire showcases a modern and sophisticated design, featuring beige upholstery complemented by a dark brown dashboard, along with faux wood and silver accents. It is equipped with a 9-inch Smartplay Pro Plus Infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include a 360-degree camera, cruise control, rear air conditioning vents, automatic climate control, and a rear armrest for enhanced comfort, among other functionalities.

The fourth-generation Dzire is powered by a 1.2-liter Z-Series petrol engine, available with both five-speed manual and AMT transmission options. This engine generates 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque, while the CNG variant produces 68 bhp and 102 Nm. Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency of 24.79 km/l for the manual transmission and 25.71 km/l for the AMT version of the new Dzire. The CNG model is expected to deliver a mileage of 33.73 km/kg.

The new Dzire is equipped with an array of safety features, including six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill-hold assist, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), brake assist, three-point seatbelts for all occupants, and ISOFIX child seat mounts, positioning it as the safest sedan available. It has earned a commendable 5-star rating for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating for child safety from Global NCAP.
