In line with the latest industry trends, Suzuki is intensifying its dedication to electric vehicles (EVs). The company is set to launch its globally-applicable electric model, the Suzuki EVX compact SUV, in international markets next year. India can anticipate the arrival of the Maruti Suzuki EVX in early 2025, where it will compete with other electric models like the Creta EV, Seltos EV, and Tata Curvv. Suzuki is also preparing to unveil an updated version of the EVX at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show.

The SUV made its initial debut earlier this year at Auto Expo 2023, and several updates have been implemented in the intervening 8-9 months. It’s intriguing to observe the evolution of the EVX during this time. As a precursor to the Japan Mobility Show starting on October 26, Suzuki has now unveiled the interior details of the EVX.

Unique two-spoke steering

The interior of the Suzuki EVX sets it apart from mainstream SUVs with its distinctive features. Notable highlights include a sleek dashboard design, a spacious screen housing the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster, and AC vents encircling the dashboard, adding dynamism to the cockpit area.

The Suzuki EVX features a unique two-spoke steering wheel design, akin to sports cars, and a dashboard free of physical buttons. Capacitive touch controls are seamlessly integrated throughout the dashboard and touchscreen.

The Suzuki EVX distinguishes between the rider and front passenger sections with a prominently extended central console, featuring a sleek piano black finish and a rotary control dial. Adding to its unique design, the EVX incorporates corrugated lines that are visible across both the doors and the central console, enhancing its overall aesthetic appeal.

Maruti Suzuki EVX: Specifications and Range

The Maruti Suzuki EVX, a compact electric SUV, boasts an impressive range of approximately 500 kilometers, eliminating the need for frequent charging stops. Equipped with advanced electronically controlled 4×4 technology, the EVX promises superior driving dynamics, making it a formidable player in the electric SUV market.

With dimensions of 4,300 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, the Maruti EVX embraces a clutter-free design philosophy, offering a spacious and comfortable interior. Safety is paramount, with six or more airbags and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features for maximum peace of mind.
