Swift CNG 2024: Variants

First and foremost, the new Swift CNG comes in variants: VXi (the entry-level CNG variant), VXi (O), and ZXi (the top-tier CNG variant). While the VXi costs Rs. 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom), the VXi (O) costs Rs. 8.46 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-tier ZXi variant costs Rs. 9.19 lakh (ex-showroom). As with every other vehicle, the power figures go down a bit when the vehicle runs on CNG.

Swift CNG 2024: Power Figured

Normally, the 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine produces 80bhp of power and 112Nm of torque. But in the CNG mode, the figures come down to 69bhp and 102Nm. Although this is a significant drop, users who purchase the CNG variant focus more on mileage.

Swift CNG 2024: Mileage

While the Swift provides 25.75 kmpl on petrol, the mileage goes up to 32.85 km/kg on CNG. However, the Swift CNG is only available in a five-speed manual transmission. Regarding design, specifications, and features, the Swift CNG is the same as the regular Swift 2024. This particular model is known to offer exceptionally low running costs.

Swift CNG 2024: Competition

However, at the same time, it is important to mention that the Swift CNG’s base model, VXi, is much more expensive than the base CNG variant of the other popular models in the segment, notably the Grand i10 Nios CNG’s Magna variant (Rs. 7.68 lakh ex-showroom), and the Tiago iCNG, which starts from Rs. 5.99 lakh for the XE XNG variant.
