Smarter EVs powered by Snapdragon

As part of this partnership, Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming electric vehicle (EV) designed specifically for the Indian market will integrate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Digital Chassis platform.

While the finer details of implementation are still under discussion, Maruti Suzuki may adopt the entire Snapdragon Digital Chassis or select specific components that align best with their EV strategy. This upcoming EV won’t just be electric; it will be intelligent. That said, the automaker can also pack in these features to their premium Ice fleet as well in due course.

The Snapdragon Digital Chassis is a comprehensive suite of technologies covering everything from the infotainment screen and digital cockpit to in-car connectivity (5G, Wi-Fi), and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

Homegrown rivals like Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra are already leveraging it in their flagship models.
