While Maruti Suzuki has been delaying the launch of the e-Vitara in India, Suzuki has launched the vehicle in the United Kingdom. The Indian-exported electric vehicle starts at £29,999 (around Rs. 35 lakhs) for the baseline Motion variant with the smaller 49 kWh battery pack. In India, the car is expected to be available in September, from Rs. 17 lakhs (ex-showroom) onwards.
Suzuki e-Vitara Variant-Wise Pricing (United Kingdom)

The e-Vitara is broadly available in two trims: Motion and Ultra.
- Suzuki e-Vitara Motion 49 kWh: £29,999
- Suzuki e-Vitara Motion 61 kWh: £32,999
- Suzuki e-Vitara Motion 61 kWh AWD: £34,999
- Suzuki e-Vitara Ultra 61 kWh: £35,799
- Suzuki e-Vitara Ultra 49 kWh: £37,799
Although the Indian variant of the e-Vitara will share the same battery packs, it won’t get the all-wheel-drive configuration that’s available in the United Kingdom, at least for now.
Suzuki e-Vitara Powertrain
- The baseline e-Vitara Motion variant (with a 49 kWh battery pack), equipped with a single-motor setup (front-wheel drive), produces 144 PS of peak power and 192.5 Nm of peak torque. Reports suggest that this particular model has a combined range of 346 kilometers on the WLTP cycle.
- The e-Vitara Motion variant (with a 61 kWh battery pack), paired with a single-motor setup (front-wheel drive), generates 174 PS of peak power and 192.5 Nm of peak torque. This particular battery pack offers a combined range of up to 428 kilometers.
- The all-wheel-drive configuration, available in both Motion and Ultra trims with the 61 kWh battery pack, features two motors that produce a combined power of 178 PS and peak torque of 300 Nm. Further, the WLTP-claimed range of the variants is 412 kilometers.

Suzuki e-Vitara Features


Some key features of the vehicle include Y-shaped LED DRLs, LED projector headlamps, and a chunky skidplate for an aggressive front profile. On the sides, the car features 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while the rear fascia features wrap-around LED taillamps.
On the inside, there’s a completely redesigned dashboard with a new dual-spoke steering wheel, an integrated infotainment system (10.25-inch) and instrument cluster (10.1-inch), semi-leatherette upholstery, fixed glass roof, and ventilated front seats.
The vehicle will also be the first Maruti Suzuki model to feature ADAS in India, with additional safety features like a tire pressure monitoring system, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera, and six airbags as standard.

2025 Grand Vitara CNG Variants Launched In India

Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki has updated the Grand Vitara’s CNG powertrain, which is now available in the Delta and Zeta variants. While the former costs Rs. 13.48 lakhs (ex-showroom), the latter costs Rs. 15.62 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The CNG powertrain has the tried-and-tested 1.5-liter K-Series petrol engine at its core, which produces 88 PS of power and 121.5 Nm of peak torque. Further, the engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Combined, the engine and the transmission offer a mileage of up to 26.6 km/kg.
