May 2025 Auto Discounts: Save Big On Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Volkswagen, and Renault

After spending a lot of time reviewing multiple sources, we’ve compiled a list of top discounts available on vehicles from brands like Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Volkswagen, and more, in May 2025. So, if you’re considering purchasing a new vehicle this month, this article will help you understand the ongoing offers from various brands.

Please note that the offers and discounts can vary based on state and dealership.

May 2025 Discounts On Maruti Suzuki Cars

Maruti Arena Offers

  • Alto K10: The AMT variants of the Alto K10 attract the most cash discount of up to Rs. 40,000. The company is also offering an exchange bonus or scrappage bonus worth Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 25,000, respectively.
  • S-Presso: Like the Alto K10, the AMT variants of the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso get the highest cash discount of up to Rs. 35,000, with a similar scrappage bonus.
  • Wagon-R: The top-tier automatic Wagon-R variant with the 1.2-liter petrol engine gets a cash discount of up to Rs. 40,000, along with a similar exchange and scrappage policy as mentioned above. The lower trims with a 1-liter engine attract reduced discounts.
  • Celerio: Some trims of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio are currently available with a cash discount of up to Rs. 40,000.
  • Swift: While the baseline trim of the Swift, Lxi, gets a cash discount of Rs. 25,000, the upper trims, like the Vxi, Zxi, and the Zxi Plus, get a cash discount of Rs. 20,000.
  • Brezza: Maruti’s 4-star compact SUV, Brezza, is available at a cash discount of up to Rs. 10,000 for the top-tier Urbano Zxi and Zxi Plus variants.

Maruti Nexa Offers

  • Ignis: The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is available with a cash discount of up to Rs. 30,000 and a scrappage benefit of up to Rs. 30,000, increasing the total benefits to Rs. 60,000. However, the manual variants attract a lower cash discount of Rs. 25,000.
  • Baleno: Maruti’s Altroz and i20 competitor, Baleno, gets a cash discount of up to Rs. 30,000, along with exchange or scrappage benefits up to Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 25,000, respectively.
  • Fronx: While the Fronx comes in two engine options, only the turbo-petrol variant gets a cash discount of up to Rs. 35,000, along with an exchange/scrappage bonus of Rs. 10,000/15,000. There seems to be no discount on the baseline trims, including the Sigma and the CNG versions. The company is also offering the Velocity Kit accessory package at a discounted rate.
  • Grand Vitara: While the MY2025 gets lesser discounts, the MY2024 Grand Vitara strong hybrid variants get a cash discount of up to Rs. 70,000, an extended warranty package worth up to Rs. 35,000, and a scrappage benefit of up to RS. 65,000, totalling the benefits up to Rs. 1.7 lakhs.
  • Jimny: The top Alpha trim of Jimny gets a cash discount of up to Rs. 1 lakh across dealers in Indian.
  • XL6: Maruti’s Carens Clavis competitor, XL6, doesn’t get any exciting cash discounts, except the Rs. 25,000 scrappage or exchange benefit.
  • Invicto: The full-size Maruti SUV, Invicto, gets a cash discount of up to Rs. 25,000, along with an exchange bonus of Rs. 1 lakh or a scrappage bonus of Rs. 1.15 lakh.  

It is important to mention here that there aren’t any known offers on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

May 2025 Discounts On Hyundai Cars

  • Grand i10 Nios: Hyundai is offering up to Rs. 40,000 cash discount on the Grand i10 Nios models with manual transmission, along with Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus or Rs. 30,000 scrappage bonus. The variants with automatic transmission attract a cash discount of up to Rs. 20,000.
  • Exter: All Exter manual (except EX and EX(O) models) and automatic trims get a cash discount of up to Rs. 25,000 and an exchange bonus or scrappage bonus of Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000, respectively.
  • Aura: The Aura petrol is available for a cash discount of up to Rs. 30,000, along with an exchange/scrappage bonus of Rs. 10,000/15,000.
  • i20: The manual variants of the i20 attract a cash discount of up to Rs. 20,000, which reduces to Rs. 15,000 for the automatic variants. However, both variants get an exchange/scrappage bonus of Rs. 40,000/45,000, respectively.
  • Venue: While the S and S(O) Venue petrol variants get a cash discount of up to Rs. 40,000, the S Plus and S (O) Plus variants get a cash discount of up to Rs. 30,000. A Rs. 30,000/35,000 exchange or scrappage bonus is also in place.
  • Verna: Hyundai’s powerful sedan, Venue, is available for a cash discount of up to Rs. 20,000, along with other benefits including an exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000, and a scrappage bonus of Rs. 35,000.
  • Alcazar: The Alcazar facelift attracts a Rs. 10,000 cash discount, Rs. 35,000 exchange bonus, or Rs. 40,000 scrappage bonus.
  • Tucson: While the diesel Tucson variant gets a cash discount of Rs. 30,000, the petrol variant gets a cash discount of Rs. 20,000.
  • Ioniq EV: The Hyundai EV is available with a cash discount of Rs. 4 lakhs.

May 2025 Discounts On Tata EVs

  • Tata Tiago EV: The MY2024 stock gets Rs. 1.3 lakhs, the MY2025 stock attracts benefits worth up to Rs. 50,000.
  • Tata Punch EV: While the MY2024 stock gets total benefits of up to Rs. 1.2 lakhs, the MY2025 stock attracts benefits worth up to Rs. 50,000.  
  • Tata Nexon EV: Those considering the MY2024 stock can get a cash discount of up to Rs. 60,000. The MY2025 stock only gets a Rs. 30,000 exchange bonus.
  • Tata Curvv EV: The MY2024 models of the Tata Curvv EV are available for a cash discount of up to Rs. 90,000, while the discount reduces up to Rs. 30,000 on the MY2025 models.

May 2025 Discounts On Volkswagen Cars

  • Virtus: The Highline and Topline variants (with 1.0-liter TSI engine mated with AT) of the Volkswagen Virtus are available with benefits of up to Rs. 1.90 lakhs, which include cash discount and loyalty bonus. The 1.0-liter petrol manual variants might be available at a discount of up to Rs. 1 lakh, including various benefits.
  • Taigun: The entry-level Comfortline Taigun trim is available at Rs. 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), down from Rs. 11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, there are higher offers of up to Rs. 2 lakh on the GT plus Sport trim (DSG), Rs. 2.5 lakh on the GT Plus Chrome (DSG), and up to Rs. 2.35 lakh on the Topline TSI AT variant.

May 2025 Discounts On Renault Cars

  • Kwid: The entry-level hatchback from Renault is available with benefits worth up to Rs. 1 lakh in May 2025. However, the offer is applicable to the vehicle’s MY2024 stock.
  • Kiger: The Renault Kiger, the only compact SUV on sale by the company, also attracts benefits worth up to Rs. 1 lakh.
  • Triber: One of the most affordable seven-seater vehicles in the country, the Renault Triber (MY2024) gets a cash discount of Rs. 50,000 along with a Rs. 40,000 exchange bonus.

May 2025 Discounts On Kia Cars

  • Sonet: The naturally-aspirated petrol version of the Kia Sonet gets a discount of Rs. 5,000, while the turbo-charged petrol engine gets discounts worth Rs. 25,000.
  • Seltos: Similar to the Sonet, the turbo-charged variants of the Seltos attract a cash discount of RS. 25,000, with an additional Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus. However, naturally-aspirated engines only get a Rs. 5,000 cash discount.
