Leading chipset manufacturer MediaTek has launched its latest SoC in the flagship segment, calling it the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e. The SoC features the company’s advanced All Big Core architecture and is the latest addition to MediaTek’s family of flagship-level processors delivering fast and energy-efficient performance for outstanding AI, connectivity, imaging, and gaming.

MediaTek Dimensity 9400e: Features

The chipset is built on TSMC’s 3rd-generation 4nm process and features All-Big-Core CPU architecture, including four Cortex-X4 super cores with clock speeds of up to 3.4GHz and four Cortex-A720 big cores with clock speeds of 2.0GHz. It is equipped with the flagship 12-core GPU, Immortalis-G720, for powerful graphics rendering capabilities for gamers. It also supports hardware-level mobile ray tracing tech for outstanding performance and console-level global illumination effects to enhance gaming immersion.
The chipset comes with HyperEngine technology that allows gaming enthusiasts to enjoy smooth, long-lasting, and responsive gaming experiences. It supports MediaTek Adaptive Gaming Technology for real-time performance scheduling between the chipset and gaming apps for high frame rate stability and low power consumption. Dimensity 9400e comes with a Frame Rate Converter, which can reduce power consumption by up to 40% when enabled.
The SoC supports the latest MediaTek NeuroPilot SDK, enabling generative AI apps and services to deliver fast, personalized, and secure experiences. It comes with enhanced inference decoding tech, accelerating the computational efficiency of large language modules. The chipset also supports global mainstream LLMs and SLMs, enabling on-device operation of DeepSeek R1-Distill models and Gemini Nano with multimodality.

The chipset comes with a flagship 18-bit RAW ISP, supporting AI semantic segmentation video engines capable of 16-layer image semantic segmentation. The chipset leverages advanced image and audio capture technologies, delivering professional-grade video recording effects for smartphone photography enthusiasts.
