The Meta Quest 3S is aimed at those who want an affordable mixed-reality experience. The headset comes with most of the upgrades and hardware that was seen with Meta Quest 3. It includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset along with Fresnel lenses that have an overall narrower field of view. It doesn’t have the 4k+ Infinite display so 4K content can’t be viewed on this one.

The chipset allows the Quest 3S to be compatible with its earlier model’s entire AAA gaming library and storage starts at 128GB followed by 256GB for the top variant. The design of Meta Quest 3S includes iPhone-esque camera lenses on each side and it won’t be compatible with all Meta Quest 3 accessories. Buyers will be able to use the Elite Strap, Elite Strap with battery, Carrying Case and Compact Carrying Case, Link Cable, Charging Dok, and Active Straps.

Travel Mode will allow working on trains and the headset supports lying down while using it. Meta AI is being improved as well by enabling Hey Meta to wake work to invoke it and more. Meta Quest 3S comes with safety features to protect your privacy and data as well.
