MG Motors India has launched a limited-edition version of its most popular EV — MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition. The ex-showroom price of the vehicle is set at Rs. 16.65 lakhs. The vehicle comes with exclusive cosmetic, interior, and feature upgrades, while under the hood, it retains the same 38 kWh battery pack and electric motor setup as the Essence variant.

MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition: Booking & Delivery Timeline

- Bookings for the limited-edition EV are now underway, and deliveries begin on October 15, 2025.
- MG will only make 300 units of the Windsor EV Inspire Edition, and there’s no doubt that the company will sell them out within hours of the bookings commencing.
- This particular version marks one year of the Windsor EV, which has sold over 40,000 units in its first year.
MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition: Exterior & Interior Upgrades
To differentiate the Inspire Edition from the regular edition, MG has equipped it with a distinct dual-tone exterior paint scheme, which combines Pearl White with Starry Black on the roof, pillars, alloy wheels, and ORMVs. The wheels feature a blacked-out finish, complemented by rose gold accents on the claddings (also on the front grille).
You also get a unique “Inspire” badging on the D-pillars and body side mouldings. Inside, the limited edition EV features a premium Sangira Red and black leather upholstery theme, with “Inspire” embroidered on the front seat headrests, while the dashboard and the center armrest are finished in black (with gold accents).

Accessories such as custom 3D floor mats with Inspire branding, cushions, rear window sunshades, and a leather key cover are also included in the limited edition.
MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition: Features
The MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition gets a new Watch Wellness app in the infotainment system, and a new Book My Service app to schedule maintenance appointments directly from the car’s screen. Then there are additions like a 4K dashcam, a 15.6-inch infotainment system (with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), an 8.8-inch digital driver display, and a nine-speaker Infinity audio system.
MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition: Performance & Battery

The limited edition EV is powered by a front-mounted electric motor that produces 136 PS of peak power and 200 Nm of peak torque. Under the hood, the vehicle features a 38 kWh battery pack, which provides a claimed range of up to 332 km. It’s worth mentioning here that the Inspired Edition doesn’t include the larger 52.9 kWh battery pack available on the EV Pro variant.

MG Windsor EV Inspire Edition: Pricing
- The limited-edition EV is available for Rs. 16.65 lakhs (ex-showroom).
- It is also available with a battery as a service model (BaaS) that costs Rs. 12.64 lakhs.
- The pricing of both models is Rs. 35,000 higher than the baseline Windsor EV Essence.
