Finally, Xiaomi Mi 10 India launch date has been announced. After months of anticipation, the handset will go official on March 31 at an online launch event. Xiaomi will bring in both 4G and 5G versions.

The Mi 10 will be the first Mi-series flagship in India since Mi 6 that was introduced in 2017. Xiaomi did launch a Mi Mix, though.

It is worth mentioning that the Mi 10-series is already available in China. Back home, Xiaomi launched Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in February and has received a good response from buyers. Xiaomi also plans to launch these phones in Europe on March 27.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Highlights

Xiaomi has officially confirmed that Mi 10 phones will bear a 108MP sensor led rear camera setup. Xiaomi seems quite pumped about this sensor. So much so that, it has been part of Xiaomi India’s official twitter account name. The only other 108MP camera phone currently available in India is Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra that hit retail shelves last month.

The Mi 10 comes with a 108-megapixel primary camera (F1.6 aperture) paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 2-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.

Xiaomi’s Mi 10 flagship houses a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with curved edges. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi has already confirmed Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G modem for the Indian market as well. Xiaomi is likely to also offer a Mi 10 variant without 5G antennas similar to recently launched iQOO 3 (review). Xiaomi could offer MI 10 in India with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
