Micromax has announced the launch date of Micromax IN 1 to be March 19 at 12 noon. The indigenous company has floated a teaser page on its official website, calling the phone, “India Ka Naya Blockbuster”. Flipkart will be the online retail partner of the upcoming Micromax IN 1 smartphone.

Upon its comeback, Micromax has thus far launched two smartphones – IN 1b (review) and IN Note 1, in December of last year. The upcoming mobile will be the first device launch of 2021 from the brand.

Micromax IN 1 Expected Features

Ahead of the launch, a fellow tech reviewer at XDA named Tushar Mehta has revealed a set of specs for the Micromax IN 1 smartphone via Twitter. The phone is said to come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ featuring a center punch-hole cutout. It will apparently have a similar rear design with a fingerprint scanner like the Micromax IN Note 1.

Micromax IN 1 is claimed to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 processor with storage options of up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal capacity. It could get a 5000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging.

The third IN device is expected to bring a triple camera setup comprising a 48MP primary lens and two 2MP sensors. So no ultra-wide shooter, it seems. The front camera has an 8MP snapper residing within a punch-hole.
