Moto G 5G Plus with SD 765 and dual selfie camera goes official

Motorola has launched an affordable 5G phone, Moto G 5G Plus, in Europe. The Moto G 5G Plus features 5G band, SD 765 SoC, 5000mAh battery, dual selfie camera, and 48MP rear camera system. The new Moto device is said to be the cheapest 5G phone from the brand.

Moto G 5G Plus Features

Upfront, the Moto G 5G Plus has a 6.7-inch CinemaVision FHD+ display with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, and 21:9 aspect ratio. The fascia also sports Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection. Moto has integrated the fingerprint scanner on the power button on the right edge of the phone.

The Moto G 5G Plus boasts of Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor coupled with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB of storage, expandable via the microSD slot. The phone runs on an improved version of Moto’s UI My UX based on the Android 10 operating system.

Moto G 5G Plus ships with quad rear camera setup installed in a square array, first from the company. The four lenses include 48MP primary snapper, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. The two punch holes at the front sports two selfie cameras with 16MP main and 8MP ultrawide shooters.

The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery with 20W fast charging. Moto G 5G Plus supports 5G network, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C port. The phone retains the 3.5mm audio jack.

Moto G 5G Plus Price and Availability

Lenovo-owned company has set the price of Moto G 5G Plus at 349 euros for 4GB + 64GB (around Rs 29,520) variant while the higher end 6GB + 128GB variant costs 399 euros (around Rs 33,750). The phone is available in a single Surfing Blue color in the European market. Motorola hasn’t said a word on its India arrival but we do know that Moto G 5G Plus will retail in UAE and Saudi Arab in the coming months.
